An individual who possesses special skills, knowledge or experience of value to and not readily available in HK may apply to come to work under the “General Employment Policy”, sponsored by his/her HK employer. The application is quota-free and non-sector specific, but valid causes and grounds should be shown and demonstrated to the department so as to obtain the relevant permit / visa. An initial stay of 24 months may be granted if our application is approved, subject to further extension of stay for a further of 3-year intervals. After receiving all relevant documents, we will submit your application in due course and keep you updated on the progress. It takes around four weeks for the Immigration Department to approve the application.
